About Us

Gramma's Quilting Cupboard is owned and operated by Marian and Jerry Whitney who have been living in Parksville for the past nine years. They opened Gramma's on March 1, 2006  because they saw the potential for a quilt shop with a traditional flavour but with fabrics for everyone and for every taste. Their first shop was in a quaint, small house in Parksville

Gradually, Marian and Jerry realized the need for more space so in June of 2007 they moved to a bigger location in the heart of downtown Parksville. Their original store opened with 144 bolts of fabric. They now have over 1200 bolts covering their shelves! Gramma's has a great selection of notions, books, and patterns, many of which have been designed by local ladies.

Gramma's has now moved to our  new location:  120-425 E. Stanford Ave., Parksville, BC.  Lots of parking!  Bigger classroom!  Same great service and friendly helpful staff!!!

Lloy, Gail, Sharon, Barb, Fran and Sandy are the ladies that keep the store going!    

Gramma's has plenty of parking available and is close to beaches, campsites, RV parks, golf courses, and all amenities.
